Jack’s Journey
14 year old Super Jack is a keen mountain biker who had spinal surgery to remove a tumour in October 2015. He was then diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma.
He had 6 cycles of chemotherapy and then went to the USA for 2 months for Proton Therapy. He has now returned to the UK and will have 5 further cycles of chemo.
Jack’s Diagnosis
Around 30-40 children are diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma in the UK each year. It usually occurs in the teenage years and is more prevalent in boys. Find out more about Ewings Sarcoma
