Treatment for cancer can be a long process. Ringing the bell for the end of your treatment is a huge milestone. Here's Super George...

Super George’s Journey

George’s cancer journey has so far taken over 2 years. He’s had surgery, biopsies and radiotherapy to contend with. His particular tumour is inoperable, so treatment is key for him. George’s Supershoes were a wonderful boost to him and remain very special, so it was no surprise that he wanted to wear them to ring the end-of-treatment bell!

Super George’s Diagnosis

Brain and spinal cord tumours are the most common form solid tumours found in children with around 400 being diagnosed each year in the UK. Find out more about Brain & Spinal Tumours

The Supershoes

Blue, black, grey, with white flames, were the requests from George for his Supershoes. Super Artist Michele worked her magic, and hey presto! George’s mum told us, “He received his Supershoes last year and recently he wore them to ring his end-of-treatment bell at hospital because they are incredibly special to him. Thanks so much to the artist for the beautiful design which he loves and to the team for making it all happen. He will treasure them always.” George 2
