Super Skyla’s Journey
Super Skyla found a lump herself, which, after blood tests and scans, was diagnosed as Hodgkin Lymphoma in 2023. She is due to undergo 4 rounds of chemotherapy, and so far is responding well to treatment.
Super Skyla’s Diagnosis
Around 60 children each year receives a diagnosis of Hodgkin Lymphoma (HL), in the UK. While it can affect children of all ages, it occurs more often in the 10-14 year age group, affecting more boys than girls. Find out more about Hodgkin Lymphoma
The Supershoes
Skyla designed the patterns on her Supershoes herself, and Super Artist Debbie made them come to life on the Supershoes. Skyla also asked for Stitch (Lilo and Stitch) and a pug dog to be added, which of course was no problem! Skyla says: “Thank you so much for my amazing super shoes, they are brilliant and I can’t wait to wear them, I really enjoyed designing them- it was great fun. Love Skyla x”
