Super Olivia is 7 years old and was diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphoma after doctors discovered a tumour. The arrival of her new Supershoes has brought her much happiness during this time and as she says "They are Aamzing!"
“We originally thought that Olivia had appendicitis. Then we found out that Olivia had a tumour and were able to get a diagnosis of Burkitt’s Lymphoma within two weeks of finding the tumour and she started treatment straight away.”
Super Olivia’s Diagnosis
Around 80 children each year receives a diagnosis of Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma in the UK. It can affect children of all ages and is more common in boys than girls. Find out more about Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma
The Supershoes
Olivia loves all things purple so that colour provided the base of her Supershoes, which also included the Cookie from Cookie Swirl C, charachters from Lego friends as well as stars and rainbows.
