Super Craig’s Journey
Super Craig has bravely fought his diagnosis of Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia through Chemotherapy and a transplant & is now very much looking forward to returning to school. Chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML) is very rare in children. Most childhood leukaemia’s are ‘acute’ meaning that they develop and progress rapidly cut CML is a chronic leukaemia – meaning it develops slowly, often over many years. CML is rare in children, with fewer than 15 childhood cases diagnosed annually in the UK.
