The new year seems to be kicking off great for Supershoes…..
We are lucky to be welcoming onboard numerous new volunteers to the team, whether that be in the office or working remotely to support us.
Kate is mummy to Super Oscar, who received a pair of Supershoes. Whilst he is still receiving treatment, this is now coming to an end and he’s doing really well. Kate is volunteering a couple of hours each week to support Kelly with some social media work.
Claudine is a virtual PA who has been following Supershoes for about a year now and approached us to get involved. She will be coming into the office once a week to help with our incoming correspondence and get us organised!
June helped out in the office during the run-up to Xmas covering Sharon who was busy at work. We’re thrilled June has decided to continue to help out now that Sharon has returned.
Karen has been a supporter of Supershoes for some time and Aztech IT - the family business she works for regularly help us out with our IT. They have also donated all of the PC’s in our office. Karen is going to support us by helping to organise our super arty-party later this year.
Sue, another mum to a young person who has received Supershoes, who is also going to be supporting us remotely. Sue’s background lends perfectly to the corporate fundraising research project she’s going to be working on.
We are looking forward to welcoming each and every one of our new volunteers and are excited about the skills and experience they will bring.
2017 is going to be an exciting year!!
