A previous recipient of Supershoes, Super Alyssa, who at the time was 7 years old, had been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. We created a pair of Supershoes for her, which she later wore to visit No.10 Downing Street.
After reaching the maintenance stage of her treatment, Alyssa’s dad took part in Dry Jan in order to raise funds for more children to receive Supershoes.
