A truly epic challenge planned by Year 6 Ambassadors at Oxley Park Academy, and supported by 11 intrepid staff members has just been completed. In fairly grim weather, Team Oxley took on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge and completed it: all 24 miles and 5,000 feet of it! What incredible dedication they’ve all shown, in their quest to make a difference to children with cancer. Thank you all so much for your time, Superhuman efforts and resilience in completing this mammoth challenge!
The team absolutely smashed their target, raising enough funds for 30 pairs of Supershoes, which will bring a huge bunch of smiles to very poorly children and young people and their families as they endure their treatment.
