Are you the parent of a child currently in treatment for cancer?
At Supershoes, we know just how important it is for the whole family to have fun at a time when absolutely everything seems like a big challenge. So we’re holding a Super Arty Party on Sunday 1 October, in Birmingham, and tickets are available, free of charge, to children, siblings and parents.
The Arty Party will be a family fun day, for children who are in current treatment for cancer, and their families, bringing them together to enjoy a super fun-filled art & crafts day, creating smiles & memories. The day will have a festival feel with an emphasis on making things with a personalised and customised touch, just like our Supershoes! We want all our activities to remind each child how very individual and unique they are; that they are so much more than just their illness.
There will be traditional entertainment such as face painters, a magician, a live band and some great street food. We’re also setting up some very cool arts and craft activity stations, about 12 in total, so there will be something for everyone of all ages to enjoy, and lots of fabulous projects to make and take away.
This is a family-friendly event, with inclusivity the name of the game. We are aiming our core art activities at children of all abilities between the ages of 6-12 years but most activities are completely adaptable to suit whoever comes to join in: little ones, older ones, siblings and mums and dads too. Come along, relax and share the laughter with like-minded people who really understand what life with childhood cancer is like!

Tickets are ONLY available from Eventbrite and are restricted to children currently in treatment for cancer, their siblings and parents or legal guardians.
